chapter four: 10 must have items every pantry needs.

It’s no secret that we all dream about having the perfect pantry. I am here to tell you that it is not hard to do so. Dream big guys, cause this one we can definitely achieve!

I know we don’t all live in houses or have access to a big pantry, but that shouldn’t stop you from having a pretty pantry. Also, do you think I’ve used the word pantry enough? I can’t tell.

Like I said you don’t need a big pantry to start. You can buy little things here and there to make it look more contained and put together and if you do have the big pantry, I am so happy for you. Now let’s get it organized.

I put together a list of must have items every pantry needs, trust me this will change your life.

ONE: stacking pantry BINS

I love these so much, not only do they come in different sizes so you can personalize your pantry but they’re stackable! I am all about containing and creating more space, but doing it in a smart and efficient way. These are great for all your snacks, cans, anything that is just floating around in your pantry.

two: narrow pantry bins

These pretty much serve the same purpose as the stackable bins, they’re just narrow in size so they’re made to contain smaller items that don’t necessarily need a big bin.

three: three tiered shelf

This three tiered shelf is to not be mistaken with the spice rack. This serves a totally different purpose. This is to hold all your canned goods in a much nicer, more organized way.

four: lazy susan

who does not love a lazy Susan? and if you’re out there, what’s wrong with you?

This lazy Susan is so great for all your oils and dressings, and think of how easy you can just flip through it to grab what you need instead of having to reach over, and knock over things on the way.

five: expandable spice organizer

Again, not to be confused with the can organizer. They’re same same but different. this goes without saying but this is great for all your spices, and makes it easy to grab them and containing them in one place.

six: canister set

I can not stress enough how important it is to have canisters in your pantry. It truly is a game changer!!!

Not only are you getting rid of all these ugly boxes with the obnoxious colors but you’re also making so much room and saving up space by putting them in canisters and it’s a great way to keep track of what you’re running low on.

Also, just so aesthetically pleasing.

I linked these glass ones to because I like them, but you really can’t go wrong with any canisters you choose. It’s really about your personal style and what you prefer.

seven: Tea storage box

I mean, how cute is this! There are two ways to store your tea bags, one is to use this storage box which is great because it’s divided and it’s stackable and clear so you can see what’s inside and what you’re running low on. The second way is to put them in canisters. Again, no right or wrong way, it’s a personal preference. Keeping them in the box is the wrong way!

eight: coffee pot holder

Did you really think I was going to give you a Tea holder but not a coffee pod holder?!

Again, this is amazing because it’s stackable, it has a divider inside so you can stack the pods inside too, it’s clear so you know when you’re running low and it can really go inside your pantry or on your counter top next your coffee station.

nine: box organizer

Does anyone else get joy by just staring at this picture, just me? ok cool cool.

This is amazing, gone are the days of stacking up your ziplock boxes and foil boxes on top of each other and having to move one to get to the other, this one give them all a home and makes it so easy to grab and go.

ten: back stock baskets

Back stock baskets are my favorite things ever! what are back stock baskets you ask? Fantastic question. BSB ( not to be confused with Backstreet boys) are baskets you keep in your pantry with all your back stock. Aka, all your extra cans, rice, pastas, snacks, paper towels, water bottles. Basically anything that doesn’t fit in all the above items I listed, because we always tend to buy more than we need to cut down our grocery store trips.

I love them because they contain all the extra stock you have without making it look bulky and ugly. It makes your pantry look much more put together. These two are my favorite, but again they come in so many different styles and colors, it’s all about personal preference like I always say.

And there you have it, Ten must have items every pantry needs. Like I said you don’t have to do it all at once, or buy it all at once, start small and build up to the big picture. Don’t overwhelm yourself and once you start I know you won’t want to stop because once you see it all pretty and organized you’ll want to keep going.

At least that’s what happens to me.

Every item posted is linked, and it’s all from the Container store. But they can easily be found on Amazon too.
