chapter five: What’s a shacket and why is it cool?

I am sure you’ve all heard or seen the word shacket floating all over the internet. Some may ask what’s a shacket you say? and why is everyone and their mother wearing one. Well, a shacket is exactly what it sounds like, a shirt jacket.

Not a shirt, not yet a jacket. ( points if you totally thought of I’m not a girl, not yet a woman). It’s too soft to be a jacket but too heavy to be a shirt, therefore it became a Shacket!

I am personally obsessed with this brilliant invention, which by the way isn’t so new! Fashion repeats itself all the time and the shacket is definitely one from the archives. It’s the perfect oversized layering piece, definitely a staple to have in your closet.
