The key here was for Skylar to be able to see everything her son had and to prevent her from buying doubles. I wanted to make some hanging space for bulkier items and items that are easier to hang rather than fold. I also divided the space into three categories: too small to wear, to wear now and to wear later. By doing that this helps my client to know what to donate or save as sentimental items, what to be using now and what to save for later. Kids grow out of their clothes so quickly it is essential to do so. Displaying everything out for her and categorizing it by style and color also helped her see everything she had for her baby and made it easy for her to get him dressed every morning.
