chapter Fifteen: Shop My Favorites this Holiday Season
When It was time to do a gift guide this year, I really wanted to be intentional with mine. I didn’t want to put a bunch of cute things on a list and tell you to buy it. I wanted to really curate a list of my favorite things that I love and would personally gift to my friends and family. So I did just that! I always put so much thought and effort into the gifts I give the people in my life and the list below makes it so easy to do so.
If you’re looking for a bunch of Amazon and Nordstrom links this won’t be the guide for you. but if you want a little bit of meaning behind your gifts,then please enjoy a few of my favorite things…
Apolis
Apolis is one of my favorite brands, not only are their market bags so cute, but the story behind the brand is incredible. For every purchase you make you help build the retirement fund of mothers in Bangladesh. I have three customized bags from them and I am obsessed. If I’ve organized your home, then you’ve definitely seen one of the bags I own!
2. Astro x Alyssa

Donni is one of my favorite clothing brands, It’s a women owned business and I love the story of how it all started. If you know me or follow me on instagram you know I’m wearing Donni at least twice a week.. At least!! From their pearl accessories to their sweat sets and silky sets you can never go wrong here.
5. JMB Living Journals
JMB Living is run by an all-female team that seeks to uplift and empower the voices and experiences of all women. We are dedicated to using our platform to support, educate, ally, and love our community as we continue on our own journey of growth. JMB living is one of my favorite journals and if you pick up the winter edition you just might see a familiar face in there… yours truly!
6. nou candles
Nou is one of my favorite candle brands, they smell so good and look so good, I love them so much. It also helps that it’s a small woman owned business. I love that each candle is inspired by a change. My favorite is Nou Adventure and Nou Journey.
7. our place
If you know me, there is a chance there is already an Always pan sitting in your kitchen right now. I either gifted it to you or talked it up so much that I convinced you to buy it! haha. I can not recommend Our Place enough,I have so many of their products. I love the colors they come in, that they’re all nonstick and how minimalistic they are. They really make such a great gift!
8. simple threads
It’s safe to say that most of my closet is from Simple Threads. I absolutely love their timeless pieces and aesthetic. They’re very reasonably priced, great quality and another amazing small women owned business! I have to support my ladies.
